Stephen and I have never used a travel agent for our vacations as we always like to shop around for the best deals on the web, deal direct, etc. We did just that for our upcoming Phoenix/Vegas trip. What a wonderful trip we just finished at Disney World in Orlando, Florida! Thank you so much Malia Fredrickson for helping us design and then setting up a most fabulous vacation. This was our first “vacation” with our two oldest kids where we didn’t just “drive to the beach” for a few days.
For our trip, Malia suggested at 6 night/7 day adventure in Disney World which included staying at the Port Orleans-Riverside resort on property, passes to each of the 4 parks with a 5th day to repeat any of the parks, meal arrangements including restaurant selection and reservations, travel by airplane on a carrier of our choosing, as well as answering HUNDREDS of my questions. The last time that my husband or I were at the parks was over 20 years ago when we were blissfully unaware of the effort that our parents put in to provide us with a memorable vacation. Thankfully, this time we had Malia! She really knows her Disney experience inside and out.
Knowing which parks to visit and where she suggested we dine each day was a huge relief. She was able to meet with me on multiple occasions in person and countless times on the phone to go over details. The ability to be able to call her at a moment’s notice and get an immediate response is unheard of…..
Malia gave us detailed information about each of the individual parks including the time they open/closed, when they had extended hours, special shows/fireworks, how to use the Fast Pass system efficiently. Because of this, we never had to wait more than 10 -15 minutes in a line and most of the time we waited 2-3 minutes. We also got to see all of the parades, princesses, characters, light shows that we could manage. It was solely because of her that we were at the Magic Kingdom early on our last day so that we could catch all of the events that we missed on our first day. We were approached by a Disney Cast Member and asked if we wanted to be the family to help Mickey “Open up the Magic Kingdom.” Obviously, we said yes.
